Salomon Turgman joined Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK in 2022 as associate professor of Chemical Engineering. He has 10+ years of experience as a faculty member in chemical engineering. Dr. Turgman’s interest are in applying computational tools to solve engineering and scientific problems, most recently problems in improving the sustainability of the planet like developing improved membrane materials and greenhouse gas absorbents. Dr. Turgman is also interested in polymeric materials, their dynamical properties, and the kinetics of their synthesis. Finally, Dr. Turgman has a passion training and helping students, other researchers, and people in general incorporate and unleash the power of computers on their own problems. Dr. Turgman has served on a grant review panel for NSF and has performed peer review for several academic journals.
