Problem Resolution

There are three ways you can receive help on Canvas related issues.

  • Immediate support from Canvas - If you are having a problem using Canvas or the system doesn't seem to be operating properly, you can call or chat with someone from Canvas Support. Click on the Help icon on the bottom left of your screen to find their phone number and link to live chat. (Remember - the people at Canvas do not work at Marian, so while they can help with the functioning of the system, they cannot answer specific questions about content or assignments in your course.)

  • Support from the Center for Teaching and Learning - The staff at the CTL is responsible for the daily administration of Canvas and working directly with the faculty to provide you a quality learning experience. You can direct any question to us at 317-955-MCTL (6285) or at ctl@marian.edu. The staff maintains normal business hours but checks email periodically through the evening and weekends.

  • Support from Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK's Help Desk - The Help Desk has longer service hours, including Saturday morning and early afternoon hours. You can always contact them at 317-955-6444, stop by their offices in 301 Marian Hall or 139 Evans Center, or submit an incident ticket . The will be able to answer your question or direct it to the appropriate party.

Important Advice - The best thing to do in order to make sure you receive the support needed is to start your assignments early, so if a problem does arise you have time to seek the necessary remedy.
